The board looks wrong in the Android app - both sides the same colour. Why?

On many Samsung phones the Android app is drawn by Samsung Internet, and its dark mode repaints every web page after the app has finished drawing it. The board suffers most: the squares blur into one shade and both armies come out the same colour. Nothing in the app can prevent this - it happens in the browser, after the page is done.

Two fixes. The quick one: open the Samsung Internet app, go to Menu → Settings → Appearance, turn off Dark mode, then reopen Chess Genie. Or install Chrome from the Play Store and make it your default browser under Settings → Apps → Default apps → Browser app; Chess Genie opens with Chrome from then on and uses its own dark theme.
